Here is the right way to pray or the secret to prayers...
1. Know Thyself, or the ones you're praying for. You need to know your strength and weakness.
Strength: humble, merciful, meekness, Righteousness, truthful.etc
Weakness: proud, unmerciful, untruthful, boastful etc
Because how you're, will GOD show himself to you.
With the merciful thou wilt shew thyself merciful; with an upright man thou wilt shew thyself upright; With the pure thou wilt shew thyself pure; and with the froward thou wilt shew thyself froward.
Psalm:18:25-26
Of all mercy and truth rules
Let not mercy and truth forsake thee: bind them about thy neck; write them upon the table of thine heart: So shalt thou find favour and good understanding in the sight of God and man.
Proverbs:3:3-4
By mercy and truth iniquity is purged
Mercy and truth preserve the king.
You can't see heaven without mercy... Yes.

2. WORD OF GOD: For man shall not life by bread alone, but by every WORD, that comes out of the mouth of GOD. Pray in your strength not in your weakness, with the word of God.
For example:
Evil shall slay the wicked: and they that hate the righteous shall be desolate.
Psalm:34:21
The righteousness of the righteous shall be upon him, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon him.
Ezekiel:18:20
