To make gbegiri u'll need the following

Beans (1 milk cup)
dried pepper ( ata gigun)
palm oil 2 serving spoons
Potash (kaun)
Locust beans (iru)
A pinch of Salt to taste
crayfish, dried fish (optional)
A cube of Knorr or any seasoning of your choice

Preparation
1. peel your beans
2. Put 3 glass cups on water in a pot/ measure 50 cl bottle
3. Add your beans (peeled) with the potash and a pinch of salt, bring to boil for about 30mins
4. once the beans is soft, mash with Ijabe ( the broom the yoruba used for ewedu) if you don't have pour it in a blender and blend but make sure it is luke warm so u don't destroy the blender
5. Add your pepper, knorr and, palm oil and locust beans to the puree in the pot add a little water too.
6. stir continously for about 5mins and turn off the heat
7 Serve while hot.

I hope this helps you out, Enjoy your meal,
