NIGERIAN Union of Teachers, NUT, has opposed the handover of payment of primary school teachers’ salaries to local government councils. This is absolute madness, how can people lose their humanity totally and feed decorum to the pigs. Peoples hard earned Salary in one mans pocket to do as he pleases. I sat on the side and continue to see in pain, shame and disappointment, how Nigeria of our dreams continue falling down the precipice of darkness, corruption, nepotism, tribalism, crime of all shades and colours not heard of else where(boko haram today kidnaping and badoo tomorrow). Nigeria is always in the news for all the wrong reasons from religion, culture, to the average man on the street everyone is an accomplice to one sinful thing or the other. If care is not taken the judgement of Sodom and Gomorra will be like a childs play to what is coming for Nigeria. The indicators are there but people are not interested in a change for the common good of Nigerian society at least as we know it from inception in the 60s. The Almighty God is looking down and given us yet another day to mend our ways, this is entirely up to us as a people before hope will slip off our very palms. Don't say you are not warned when its too late.
