I was on a routine search yesterday at Suleja,Niger state and I discovered that so many lifes and properties have been lost due to the tragic scene especially those who built their houses close to river rine areas.

You can see the gutters, all clogged up , surely the government should be blamed but residents Should share the blame as well!!

When drainages are blocked and we don't care or want to manage our environment. The blame is on all of us. From lack of town planning to our way of non chalant living.

This is saddening. truly saddening. the government's should take responsibility and do something. the issue of flooding especially on the island in Lagos is a reoccurring event every year...this year seems worse of, the government should start doing something. Else, the dry seasons will come and its all business as usual, well..until next year flooding kicks off again. Most states are affected this year. pity
