The Supreme Court on Wednesday sacked Ali Sheriff as the National Chairman of the opposition Peoples Democratic Party.
The court also declared Ahmed Makarfi, the caretaker committee chairman, as the authentic leader of the PDP, Nigeria’s largest opposition party.

The kind of desperation shown by Sheriff was enough to convince a lot of people that something sinister is going on. On top of that was the tendency of APC members to jump to his defence without cause.
I don't even know what's so particular about the PDP anyway. I find the whole drama detestably funny
