Good News.....

The Senate Public Hearing for the conversion of the ABU College of Agriculture, Kabba into a full-fledged university of Agriculture will be coming up on Thursday, 20th, 2017 at the National Assembly.

It is on record that the bill for the upgrade of the College of Agriculture, Kabba, to a full- fledged university was sponsored by Sen. Dino Melaye.

Please, let us mobilise in full force for the public hearing......

In unison we shall win this!
ABU college of Agric, Kabba is the only school left in the Northern Region that is not a full fledge University....
For the benefit of younger Okuns, Uni-Sokoto,Maiduguri ,Markudi, Kano etc were once upon a time ABU Satalite campuses like ABU college of Agric, Kabba....
We need total commitment of all and sundry to see to the reality of this uncommon venture.

I just pray that our people will team up and jointly navigate the process of the bill before the senate.
Those that are currently in kogi government should put their factions aside and support Dino.
Especially the commisioner for Education in Kogi state Dr. Tolorunleke and many of our professors

Still on the matter, tomorrow is the D day!!!

This golden opportunity of having a federal tertiary institution in the heart of Okun land, let us make adequate representation at the public hearing, let us submit memorandum backed with all required documents and facts to argue our case, and let us pray for success in this endeavor.

Seun and lalasticlala, please help me push this to front page today or tomorrow. If not for anything(including traffic), atleast to appreciate me for being a loyal Nairalander over the donkey's years.

Even As We Wait On Lord Today : Their deaths must not be in vain.
In the cause of our struggle for a university in Okunland, we lost 3 precious souls in 2011 through the hands of Nigerian police: one (1) in Kabba and two (2)at Aiyetoro-Gbede.
Many were also injured and maimed for life.
Join us in waiting on the Lord today as the battle is taken to the Senate.
Òkun Development Association (ODA) National President has been officially invited by the Senate to defend the position of Okun based on their earlier submission.
We can...May God help us.

This is why critic/competition is very healthy.

Dino Malaye is now sitting up. For the first time he has earned my respect.

However, it is not about upgrading it to university, it's all about bringing creative policies to upgrade the whole of Nigeria universities to be like the ones you guys go to abroad.

It's all about making it world standard!
With all these monies recovered, things like this can be done.

Nigeria can be great again if you guys put your heart into it!

Sorry....but DIno should give up this pipe dream.

We were having issues funding universities adequately during the regime of Johnny Goode....even when oil prices were at $100 and above....and you want to add more liabilities for Bubu and MInister Adamu?

We don't need more universities. Infact....we need more technical and vocational colleges. Not new university where students will be using 1920's equipment in the name of saving costs.
