It takes an slowpoke to want to please the easterners with project. The couple of projects being handled are stupiidly criticised.

The only language understood by easterners was used by president Jonathan:appoint as many easterners into your high cabinet (VP, sgf, finance, cbn, nimasa,, sec, etc and leave the region To continue to deteriorate!

You will have their applause -this is why I think PMB/PYO Admin is a fool when they are attempting to show some care:get ten Igbos into powerful posts and leave the rest to suffer-you will not hear of ipob again

You be big MUMU! You are here blabbing about others being the President and appointing Igbos into various positions! But you are not talking about an Igbo man being the president! Why won't they agitate for Biafra, when your dull brain does not envisage an Igbo man becoming the President of Nigeria!!!

It is their problem, not ours.

When their self professed son GEJ was in power,

They saw him work on the Abuja-Kaduna rail road,

They saw him construct roads in the north and build Alamajiri schools,

The Igbo elders were more interested in money sharing and not infrastructural development,

Politics is all about interests,

Reason why we SWers are wiser, now that we are are the center, all rail projects have been initiated from Lagos(Lagos-Ibadan, Lagos-Kano, Lagos-Calabar)

Road projects too are not left out. (Lagos Ibadan Exp Way must be concluded)

That is what politics is all about-interests and not gragratic emotions.

Any time it is mentioned that Nigerian Government, the allies of Yorubas and Hausas have connived for more than 50 years to marginalized the South East and South South, you wicked Afonjas(Yorubas) brings up GEJ's mere 5 years in power.... If you know the few mess he cleaned up in SE you know how Yoruba in collaboration of your hausa masters have dealt with us. So what happen the international Airport in Enugu and Portharcourt port are they not okay to work perfectly well. Suddenly GEJ has become an IGBO man, dont worry time will tell how you will reap all your evils. Any IGBO man who do not support IPOB has already mortgage the future of his Generations to come, even if he is a billionaire now.

My ppl from the East stop acting as if ur region is the only place left out in Nigeria. If you want to know how bad Nigeria is journey from kano down to Lagos u will see how Nigeria is. How many railway stations are up to Nigeria standard leave foreign standard now. Only that of Abuja the rest get as E be so we are all together in this stop thinking and believing outside Eastern part the rest region are finding it funny.

Anything u want to term me go ahead am a Yoruba guy and proud to be Lagos, Ibadan, Osogbo even though renovated down to Kano all have abandoned equipments like that so stop painting it as if east is left out of Nigeria.

We won't say much u ppl will start talking Biafra this Biafra that u are not the only one that want a better livelihood but violence and strict agitation sometimes brings pain and sorrow e.g Sudan,Libya, Syria etc sometimes drinking garri in peace is better than taking chicken in fear. Yorubas are not Fools pls we are just conscious
Show us pictures of those in Ur zone, we want to see

Made a stroll through Enugu Railway station, was shocked with level of abandoned coaches and equipment lying fallow around the stations' premises.

The things seen require the proper description of a skilled writer which unfortunately i am not.
Railway transport activities are practically at a stand still.
can something be done to reverse this story?

Those tracks are the old type, that's standard Guage, the new one is the wider Guage,. In summary, they need to replace this one with the wider Guage, that'll take time. They've already started though.

My submission is with facts. No ranting or abuse. It was a common knowledge that you ipods BIAFRAN, (not Igbos) we're at peace with last administration even when ijaw have moved on you are still crying. The greatest fact is you can't point to any benefit brought to the East. Only Igbos know that the last administration was a disaster.

No state was left out, even when Buhari came he had to re-route it to pass through Ekiti and Bayelsa which were not in the original plan
bibe:

I don't think so. I recall the incidence at the senate or house of rep (not very sure which one) where they were debating on passing the loan request of about $1.5b (again not certain of the exact figure).
The SE senators/reps noted the SE wasn't captured and were supported by the SW colleagues amid some commotion.
I stand to be corrected though.

You guys still cry to federal government as your answer? Develove power develop yourself. They are horribly inefficient and wasteful.

Solutions:

● Railways:

Conference decided that this item be moved to the Concurrent Legislative List. This in the view of the committee would give the States with high population cities the power to provide light railways for its people;

● List the sector (Railway, Port, Land, Water, Sea and Air) under the Concurrent Legislative List, which will spell out the areas of legislative competence of both the Federal and State Governments.
