Low sperm count means that, when tested, the total amount of sperm in your semen is below a certain amount. The most current World Health Organization guidelines define low sperm count as having less than 15 million sperm in a milliliter of semen (15 million/ml).
Having low sperm count means that you have lower odds of fertilizing your partner’s egg. While it is true that it only takes one sperm to fertilize the egg, you really need a significant number of sperm to make it successfully through the obstacle course that is the female reproductive system.
If you don’t get pregnant in the first couple of months of trying to conceive, don’t worry. The statistics show that, for some couples, it just takes a bit longer to get pregnant.
20% will conceive within one month
70% will conceive within six months
85% will conceive within one year
It is hard to let nature take its course when you have baby on the brain. Fertility specialists typically want to see you after you’ve tried unsuccessfully for a year or at the 6 month mark if you are over 35 years old.

Semen quality refers to how well the sperm in a man's semen can fertilize a woman's ova. The better a man's semen quality is, the better chances he has to make a woman pregnant. A 1992 World Health Organization book said that an ejaculation of normal human semen has:[6]
a volume of 2 millilitres or more;
a pH of 7.2 to 8.0, which means that it is alkaline;
40 million or more sperm (20 million sperm in each millilitre of semen);
50% or more of the sperm alive; and
50% or more of the sperm able to move, or 25% or more of the sperm able to move forwards quickly within 60 minutes from the time of ejaculation.
The number of sperm in an ejaculation of semen depends on many things. There may be more sperm if:
the man is younger,
his body produces more of the
hormone testosterone, which makes a person look and feel like a man,
his testicles are not too warm,
he produces more semen,
he has not ejaculated for some time, and
he has been stimulated for a longer time before ejaculation.
If there are an unusually low number of sperm in an ejaculation, this is called oligospermia. If there are no sperm at all, this is called azoospermia. A man with oligospermia or azoospermia is usually infertile , and cannot or finds it very hard to make a woman pregnant by having sex with her.

Lifestyle factors definitely make a difference in your sperm count and health. But it’s important to note that the sperm life cycle is 46 to 76 days. So whatever lifestyle changes you make will take two to three months to show in a semen analysis.
Below are some tips on how to increase your sperm count and quality for those considering being a donor. But first, let’s look at the semen test itself.
Sperm count
This is the number, or concentration, of overall sperm. Forty million to 300 million sperm per milliliter is considered normal. Counts below 10 million per milliliter are considered poor.
Motility (ability of sperm to swim): We test for two things: the number of healthy, active cells as a percentage of the total sperm cells, and the quality of the sperm movement.
Morphology (size and shape of sperm): A minimum of 30% of the sperm cells must be normal size and shape. Normal sperm have oval heads and long tails that work to propel semen forward in search of an egg to fertilize.
Total semen volume: A normal ejaculation includes about 2.0 milliliters. Low volume may indicate that the seminal vesicles are not creating enough fluid or that the ducts are blocked. A problem with the prostate gland can also cause low sperm volume.

How to increase sperm count
--_----------------------------
Healthy sperm is closely tied to your overall health. So the good news is that maintaining a healthy lifestyle also promotes healthy sperm. To increase your sperm count do the following:

Maintain a healthy body weight for your height. Obesity has been linked to lower sperm count and poor sperm motility.
Eat a healthy diet including getting the recommended daily allowance of fruits, vegetables, proteins, and grains.

Get regular exercise. You don’t have to be an Olympian, just get enough to stay fit. Exercise is also a great stress reliever. And since stress can contribute to low sperm counts, you can take care of two things at once by breaking a sweat on a regular basis. The one exception may be long distance bicycling. Some tests indicate that spending hours on a bike seat can damage sperm production, so check with your doctor if you’re an avid cyclist.

Some dietary supplements (e.g double stem cell@ www.phytosciencenigeria.com.ng) can help increase sperm count. Copious studies reveal connections between an increase in sperm count and minerals such as zinc and selenium, antioxidants such as Vitamin C and Vitamin E, and the amino acids L-carnitine (found in red meat and dairy) and L-arginine (found in nuts, eggs, and meat).

Eating foods and taking supplements rich in these can help.

What to avoid to maintain healthy sperm
----------------------------------------------------
As stated above, lifestyle has everything to do with overall sperm health. So to have healthier sperm – and to live healthfully in general – avoid the following:

Don’t smoke.

Drink alcohol in moderation.

Avoid hot tubs because the heat can kill sperm cells. Since sperm are stored in your testicles outside of your body, they are especially vulnerable to heat.

Don’t wear tight underwear. Jockey or boxer shorts give your testicles enough room to remain cool, which promotes healthy sperm production.

Don’t use drugs. Along with putting you at risk for many health problems, drug use – and especially heavy marijuana use – is known to substantially decrease sperm count and sperm concentration.

First of all watery sperm can mean oligozoospermia or azoospermia or aspermia.

The WHO recommended quality of a normal semen include

Sperm count about 20million per 5ml

50% motility (movement) of d spermatozoa

50% normal forms... A normal sperm is strictly a spermatozoa whose head, neck and tail are all normal. If any part is abnormal, then its not normal

What can be done for watery sperm?
First see a doctor which will first ask u to do a test called semen analysis

Next, treat any sexually transmitted. diseases if u have any. e.g syphilis, gonorrhoea,

Next avoid smoking and alcohol

Take More Vit E and vitamin C

foods containing vit E and Vit C like fruits (banana, mangoes,) etc can help

But to me ,the best effective supplement to use for watery sperm is DOUBLE STEM CELL. together with Vitamin E and C capsules

stem cell works by replacing dead cells I'm the body and creating new cells. Read more about double stem cell on Google (www.Phytosciencenigeria.com.ng) . It's very effective for watery sperm... and low libido.

or call the double stem cell head office line 08084187162,Mr Tony
