Manchester United came out victorious in one of the worst ever penalty shoot out seen.

United opened the scoring after some fancy foot work from Anthony Martial for Jesse Lingard to finish off in the dying minutes of the first half.

Madrid equalized in the second half after a clumsy challenge by Victor Lindelof led to a penalty being awarded to Madrid, which Casemiro dispatched.

The game now went to penalty shoot out with United scoring two and Madrid scoring only one out of five.

Yeah most players were burned out before the end of the second half,
It's unfortunate Herrera went off injured within six minutes of coming on.
I would have expected mctominy to be substituted, Valencia brought in and darmian shifted back to the left with Blind playing as central Defensive midfield.

Hope we don't get burned out and injured so much, before season even kicks off.

I had expected to see a Lindelof / Bailey partnership by now.
We are yet to know who our main holding midfielder will be, so I believe Pogba and Herrera will be box to box, let's believe we will see some thing better against Barcelona.

i believe we need matic, or that roma guy, cant spell his name(ngo-something), and martial should remain, perisic is not consistent, though experienced, but martial is still young.
