UPDATES!!!

Good morning dear comrades,
We ( The national reps)
been able to reach some agreement on the proposed protest.
After duly notifying the relevant offices in the country ( Including NASS, Senate, presidency, min. Of Finance and office of the VP), We are sure we have been civil enough and so we wait for response for a shot while, and if they don't, PEACEFUL PROTEST would be it, but we have to begin it's preparation NOW.

Because of the kind of leaders we have in Nigeria, I can assure you, that its ONLY PROTEST that works wonders in this kind of senerio and so support would be needed from ALL 5000 WINNERS. For example; most of us were involved in YESP/BOI Program, the question I want to ask you is;
Did you receive any funding?...

Well let me shock u; some selected people received, and some will soon receive, wanna know how or why?...Few protested....

Here we want to ensure that not Just a few are carried along, not just a few would be protesting and not just few... But ALL 5000 WOULD BE FUNDED.

I understand that most of our WhatsApp groups have gone dormant( and its mostly because our admins don't give us regular updates), but let us go back to our various States group n discuss how we can make this massive move a success.

This is not YESP/BOI, nor is it Npower, THIS IS YouWiN (for God's sake) and we have seen past beneficiaries with their millions, our case should never be different, but it all depends on YOU.

WE SHALL ALL BE FUNDED!!!

OK, but let pray it won't get to that protest phase before funding.
I commend and support all move made in this regard.
God strengthen us the more and make us to achieve our goal.

Agritech:

That's the problem, different info was communicated to different master classes. In majority of the master classes including mine in Asaba, those in Abuja, Kano, Lagos and Ibadan, we were told that the program is just for capacity building and training, and that a new program would role out were everyone can apply and submit business plan.

I for one is not against equity funding, I am only against no funding.

That is what we are fighting for.

there is a telegram group with about a thousand members from all over the country, you should join to keep update on the latest.

He's helping the Minister of Finance teach Nigerians how to calculate and pay their taxes, in the hopes that her ministry will consider disbursing funds to the 5000 YouWin! How can that help
Re: Youwin Connect Business Competition 2017 by belovedaja(m): 10:54am On Apr 23, 2018
Because Nigeria youths are lazy this buhari(govt) short listed 55,500 youths from over 100,000 application for an online capacity training and examination. Then 5,000 pass or were selected for master class training and empowerment to kick start their vision.
The same government turned around and say there is no money . what a wicked, clueless and irresponsible leadership.

The enrollment for the programme ended on May 15, 2017 with the aim of selecting the beneficiary youth would boost job creation in the 23 states. Mr Daguru, assured that the money earmarked for the project was intact, even though the disbursement was yet to start. He, nonetheless, said that the disbursement would be made through the Grant and Funds category of the project. “We have applied to the federal government, through Federal Ministry of Finance for permission to reallocate funds from other categories like Consultancy, Training, Civil Work into the Grant and Funds category. “Any moment from now, disbursement will take place, especially to those who would engage in rainy season agricultural activities because they have completed the grant agreement and submitted their land documents. “The Phase One is expected to gulp about N8, 675, 013, 679.12 to fund the business plans of the 5,916 candidates in 23 states. “If the resources permit in the last segment of the project, we will be able to upscale to other states in the second phase.’’ Mr Daguru said: “The objective of the programme is to work with government in three areas of job creation, while building capacity of our youths and aiding efforts to keep the foreign exchange rates low. “We are making sure we import low quantities of rice and tomatoes, while putting less pressure on our Naira (currency) so as to make our economy strong.’’ He said that the target beneficiaries were those with ages between 18 and 35 as well as graduates and undergraduates of higher institutions. “The programme would support all aspects of agricultural production in a business or commercial manner; right from crop and livestock production, inputs support supply and advisory services. “It would also assist extension services and post-harvest production services like storage, warehousing, marketing and products distribution.’’ Mr Daguru said that a two-week intensive training in business and technical fields in the states would be conducted for candidates after the screening exercise. “During the application process, candidates would be allowed to choose specific enterprises of their choice in the agricultural value chain and they would be trained in the ventures accordingly. “At the end of the training, they would be asked to submit business plans on their chosen enterprises; we will then invite professionals to review the business plans and come up with standard modules. “We have 5,916 trainees and they have opened bank accounts with two selected commercial banks that are used by the FADAMA Coordinating Offices in the states.’’
