Congratulations to Abdullah Bukar from Daura, Katsina state who has made his family and the country proud after graduating with first class in Mechanical Engineering from Swansea University in Wales, United Kingdom. According to reports, the young man's father also graduated from the same department in 1972 (45 years ago).

His parents were in the United kingdom to celebrate the great feat. Congrats once again to the young chap.

Shatap. He is not a leader but a normal father. Who stop the Almajiri from going to school? The man in pic or Almajiri parents?

If he were to graduate from a Northern Nigerian School with first class, they will say a southerner with 3rd class is better than him academically.

Enough of all this first class bulls, is this what will take Naija out of the recession? I can't even count my degrees anymore, and my last Masters was 3.95 over 4.00 GPA, which is a first class rating by global standards, but our country Nigeria is going to hell, and all we can say here is who made first class and region of origin and tribe of the person? Sick
