NYSC OFFERS OPPORTUNITIES FOR SELF-EMPLOYMENT AND WEALTH CREATION TO 2017 BATCH A STREAM II CORPS MEMBERS.

Are you a 2017 Batch 'A' (Stream II) Corps member? Do you want to become a successful entrepreneur? Do you dream of owning your own business and creating jobs for others?

Here's how you can actualize your dream: The training of Corps members under the NYSC Skills Acquisition and Entrepreneurship Development Programme (SAED) is set to commence in all Orientation Camps on Monday, 31st July, 2017.

The programme, which commenced in 2012, is aimed at contributing towards curbing the rate of graduate unemployment in the country.

So far, nine hundred and sixteen thousand (916, 000) Corps members have been sensitized since the commencement of the programme. GAINS OF SAED PROGRAMME Here are some of the gains of the SAED programme over the past years:

1. NYSC has successfully entered into the partnership with stakeholders, including the Central Bank of Nigeria, the Bank of Industry (BOI), and the Heritage Bank, with a view to empowering interested Corps members with start-up capital to fund businesses conceived after the SAED training;
