In a world where people would rather snap you for the social media rather than help you when you are in a terrible situation, there are so many creepy and disturbing photos but here is a list of the top 10 I compiled.

10. A Lady (Blanche Monnier) who fell in love with a lawyer her mother did not approve of and as a result, was held captive in a room crowded with rats for 25 years. She was rescued at 49 when someone gave an anonymous tip to the authority.

9. Nine year old Kim Phuc fleeing her village after a Napalm attack. The photographer was certain she would die because her skin was badly
burnt. Her brothers are also captured in the photograph running and looking backward.

8. Stabbed by an attacker on her way from work. As a result of the shock, she walked home without realizing the knife was stuck in her, just a
little bit away from her spine. After treatment, she fully recovered with no major damage to her body.

7. James Nachtwey’s picture captures scene of a woman, during the famine in Somalia as a result of the 1992 armed conflict waiting to be
taken to a feeding center in a wheelbarrow. The picture later attracted a large support which saved over one and half million people.

6. Some call this “the world’s most beautiful suicide”. This is Evelyn McHale’s body after leaping from the Empire State Building, landing on a
United Nations Limousine.

5. This woman in this photo is actually dead. Her Husband took it two days after she passed away.

4. After an earthquake in Sichuan China, a survivor finds a photo album and cherished memories in the remains of his home.

3. One last embrace: This image, while deeply disturbing, is also hauntingly beautiful. Two victims of the infamous garment factory collapse in
Dhaka, Bangladesh, lie covered in debris together. Nobody knows who they are or the relation between them but perhaps they are trying to
save each other at the last moment of life in the death trap of Rana Plaza.

2. This is a heart-wrenching photo of a malnourished child next to a vulture waiting to devour him. This was taken by photojournalist Kevin
Carter in Sudan which earned him the Pulitzer Prize. What is creepy is that the photographer took his own life 3 month after taking the
picture.

Nevado del Ruiz volcano erupted.
