Of a truth, some ladies are still single today because men did not find them worthy of marriage. In other words, men see them as not marriageable, so as a lady if you happen to possess the qualities of a marriageable woman; men will struggle to be the one to get your hands in marriage.

Putting the above verses together, one can see that it is good understanding that proves if a lady is marriageable or not. You will know a lady with good understanding by her lifestyle.

In other words, you equally know ladies without good understanding by their lifestyle. Men generally consider your lifestyle when choosing the women they wish to marry. So women, who lack good understanding talk, behave and dress anyhow.

The book of Proverbs 21:19 says “It is better to dwell in the wilderness, than with a contentious and an angry woman” and Proverbs 27:15 “A continual dropping in a very rainy day and a contentious woman are alike.

Moreover, when a lady proves that she is a virtuous woman, men struggle who to get her for marriage while as they run away if they confirm that she is clamorous. Proverbs 9:13 “A foolish woman is clamorous: she is simple and knoweth nothing”. Also Proverbs 31:10 says, “Who can find a virtuous woman? For her price is far above rubies”.

Ladies who are assets and not liabilities is another quality of ladies who are marriageable. When men confirm that a lady is industrious, more or less an asset, they will rush to marry her compared to when a lady is nothing but lazy and a liability.

Finally, it is said that one of the gate ways to a man’s heart is through his stomach, so when men confirm or prove that a lady knows how to prepare good or delicious meals they rush to marry her while they tend to run away for marriage from ladies who don’t know how to cook.

In summary, as a lady, the reason why you are still single is that you did not measure up to these qualities while as you will have the problem of making choice of the number of men who will be seeking for your hands in marriage if you possess these qualities.
