18-year old Howard University graduate Nkechi Chidi-Ogbolu today presented her college diary to Gov Nasir Ahmad El-Rufai and Deputy Governor, Barnabas Yusuf Bala. Nkechi, author of Tales of an Uber Minor in College, said she is presenting to Governor El-Rufai because of his commitment to Education. She informed the governor that she will commence her doctorate in Biomedical Engineering at the University of California next month. Malam El-Rufai commended her for making Nigeria proud, noting that we must all do more to promote the education of the girl-child. I'll love El Rufai to be Nigeria's President but he must be matched with a good economist like Okonjo Iweala, Peter Obi etc. He has the charisma for such. |

But should it be Afonja branch of IPON branch.But come to think of it 18 yrs old and eants to commence her Ph.D when many of our youths who desire to study are battling with JAMB and when dey get good scores no admission. For those who even do their Ph.D's that should ve been 3 year it wud take 6-10 years of frustration. Your supervisor go dey form god and wud plunder ur pockets whereas in many countries in developed climes u re even paid at Ph.D level.
