In what appears as an unprecedented move, the quest for the sovereign state of Biafra has taken a new form. From a 15mins video which got into circulation yesterday, young men and women dressed in black and black were seen taking command from their “commanders” in place that looks like a village parade ground. The man at the center of the agitation, Nnamdi Kanu, was also seen inspecting these various platoons of “soldiers” who came from different parts of South East and South-South.

Apart from the fact that the parade was a caricature of Boys Brigade parade practice, it was a mockery of all the person involved and the people they represent. As we are all aware, this is not the best of times as there is tension in most part of the country owing to various protests and unrest, like the Return or Resign protest (which witnessed a small riot at Wuse Market yesterday) for and against (president Mohammadu Buhari) rally, the October 1 quit notice, the Fulani herdsmen and the many more security concerns the nation is facing, the nation should not be thrown in to uncertainties. This brigandage should be nipped in the bud right in time.

It may interest you to know, this set of riffraff have decided to be rival to the Department of State Security Service by christening themselves “Biafra Secret Service (BSS)” and it was said that they are ready to “volunteer their life to fight for and defend Biafra land”. As far as I know, this is an illegal organization which is capable of undermining the security of the entire country.

It is clear and obvious Nnamdi Kanu has flaunted his bail conditions but has not been rearrested based on reasons best known to security operatives. If he’s allowed to continue in this manner, Nigeria will eventually become a lawless state. The earlier this agitation for the state of Biafra is controlled the better for the peaceful coexistence of every one of us.

The agitators of this secessionist movement as well as every other person making statements capable of causing unrest must be called to order with immediate effect. It is high time the acting president take a decisive action to douse all the tension.

A stitch in time saves nine.

Op, go and die if it pains you. Op, do you realize that you are one of the minions, one of the deplorable reprobates, and an epic problem of the country.
Did I here you say "nip in the bud"? In fact, you are mad. You better wake up. There can never be peaceful co-existence in absence of justice, equity, and fairness. Before you have your peace, make you you have an egalitarian society in place.

As for the BSS, make no mistake, what you just saw is a tip of an iceberg. Biafrans are have similar armed groups stationed somewhere. when the time comes, you gonna see them in actions properly.

The greatest mistake Nigerian government will make is to think that we are in 1967. This is 2017, Biafrans are seething for a payback.

We Biafrans in the Nigerian army are watching. When it is time, we shall defect to Biafran side.

That was how it all started in 1967 when the south east consultative Assembly unanimously asked Ojukwu to declare the state of Biafra for them out of ignorance and arrogance. They even boasted that only the Ohafia warriors can handle the Nigeria army and that grass and mystical trees in the villages will fight for their course.

Nnamdi Kanu have towed the part which often lead to destruction because miscreants cheer him all over the place.

Kanu should ask very well how Ojukwu fled to ivory coast leaving those he led into war to their faith.

History is about to repeat.

God save us all.

Why is it too hard for you lazy parasite to ask for justice, fairness, equity to all citizens...?

Why do you keep a blind eye to the root cause of the agitation?

Why do you love to keep the unsustainable status quo that only favours your tribe?

Why do you love to see your fellow country men and women suffer deprivation, simply because your tribe gain from the rot?

Once you ponder on these, you will understand...

For me the government is taking too long to engage them in discussions to understand how to resolve their issues...but any attempt to use force of arm..will aggravate the problem...

What justice, equity and fairness are you seeking? Talk of looking for what's not lost.

Nigeria can not be threatened by any secret army and armoury in one imaginative place. I'm not interested in that as much as I'm interested is discussing the justice, equity and fairness you mentioned.

The last time I checked, Nigeria is a democratic society. Elections are conducted and won by those who have the majority vote.

Is so difficult for this set of people to form a political party, campaign and win elections? It may be tough, but under Nigerian constitution, that's the only way.

Calling for referendum is not feasible under the current constitution and we can not change that arbitrarily.

There's a question these people are not asking their leaders, in the recent attempt at amending the 1999 constitution, why didn't the south east and south-south legislators form a coalition to ask for the inclusion of referendum in the constitution?

Why?

That's why you created this selfish post...Nigeria problem has nothing to do with elections. Nigeria problem has to do with its structure..its foundation which is false...You talk about constitution...How can Abdulsalam military constitution becomes peoples constitution? For example...why do people in Uyo need to go to Abuja to get permission to build their roads...Why would the federal government decide where to build their rail system? Why would they decide that kids from some part of the country need to score more than kids from other regions...while not also giving the people from the said reegion opportunity get into the armed force, customs, police, Immigration to balance the representation of people from other zones...? Why woud Kano have 44 LAG and LAgos 16 despite Lagos having more people? Etc, Etc, etc..

You fly the kite of constitution, because you know it was crafted to favour you...

Let me quickly shed more light on that 1999 "Kabiyesi" constitution. That constitution is the making of Gen. Sani Abacha who was transitioning and positioning himself for civilian presidency before his sudden demise in 1998. Abdulsalami only continued from where his benefactor stopped and handed over to civilians who were only too eager to take power without first scrutinizing the lopsided operating manual that was being handed over to them. Matter of fact it is on record that many of them did not see a copy of the constitution until they were sworn into office in 1999! shocked

The biggest disappointment in all of this is Obasanjo who has been opportuned to lead this country twice and blew the only opportunity he had to give this country a true people's constitution when he assumed office in 1999. The man just pandered to the interests of the Northern hegemony by deciding not to rock the boat for 8 years. He organised a National conference which was a failure before it even began when he ruled out critical issues like 'fiscal federalism' and 'resource control' from being discussed at that conference.

The APC who knew all the solutions to our problems as a country when they were in the opposition have suddenly grown cold feet as soon as they got to the center. Restructuring is right there in their manifesto, now they are insulting our sensibilities by setting up one committee after the other to define the position of the party on restructuring. What nonsense!

There is no going back. It is not a PDP or APC thing anymore. We either restructure and return this country to true fiscal federalism or we all line up behind the separatists. Enough is enough!

This write up of your is nonsense. What you should be concerned about is if Nnamdi Kanu has broken any laws? If he has flouted his bail conditions, it is for the courts to decide at its next sitting. What tangible thing can you say Kanu has done wrong?

It's people like you that only blab on social media, why don't you join them? Ojukwu never forgave himself for leading young men, women, and children to thier deaths something he could have avoided knowing the situation on ground. The worst part is that history somehow always repeats itself.

Can you advice the Federal Government to organise a peaceful referendum so that the issue of Biafra can be put to rest permanently?

Are you calling your corrupt government to arrest or kill Biafrans?

Our message is loud and clear. We want our country where peace, justice and respect will be upheld.

Nigeria should not be by force.
