26 year old Martial arts fighter Rondel Clark, suffered a technical knockout in a match in Massachusetts on Saturday, as he was confirmed dead by the Plymouth County district attorney's office yesterday. That Clark died at a Boston hospital.
Clark competed as part of the Cage Titans XXXV showcase on Saturday at Plymouth Memorial Hall. The match was stopped about two minutes into the third round and was ruled a TKO.
According to one of the observed of the match, clerk had been dominanting in the fight, but then there was a sudden, noticeable change in him.
After the fight, the DA said Clark was taken to Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital in Plymouth and then transferred to Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston.
The state medical examiner's office will determine the cause and manner of Clark's death.
It was learnt that the police, local police and the Massachusetts State Athletic Commission are investigating his death. Photos below:
