It must not be Mtn. Try others. It's not uncommon though some villages in Bayelsa have the same issue, but glo is at least present there

it is with anger in my heart that I make this complain to you!
in my village people are not allowed to make/receive calls,
browse, text etc. this problem is as a result of "Lack of Mast"
and has been affecting the villagers of in that community for
over 10years.

If getting a land will the issue/problem then, am willing to offer MTN lands to plant the mast..

Apart from Land, how security assured is your community? No investor wants to invest in an area where there is zero guarantee on investment due to porous security of the community. Youth restiveness, wanton destruction of properties due to frequent communal clashes, kidnapping, etc.

Guaranteed security is guaranteed investment. Perhaps MTN had conducted risk assessment and found your community not viable. However, keep pushing for your community, it will pay off someday.

I've sent numerous messages to MTN via their
twitter and facebook page/handle. All they tell me is that their support team is on it. No action whatsoever.. ( since 2 years + now. Nothing has been done there. the Name of the community is Lorji in Aboh-Mbaise Local Government of Imo-state(it is comprised of up to 5 villages).

This problem has caused deaths and great problem to them(the villagers, since there is no way to call for help from Police, doctors etc.. when one is in trouble. please we need a Mast. why the isolation?

If getting a land will the issue/problem then, am willing to offer MTN lands to plant the mast..
most communities don't have it even in states like delta state, besides how many people DE your community?

OP you dont have to be angry. Many Nigerians have this obligation mentality. MTN is a privately owned firm and is not under any obligation to install their base station in every town or village. They can choose to remain in one city and not expand, that is their choice and no one can force them to expand. It purely a business decision when it comes to things like this. I will suggest you come up with proposal detailing things or opportunities MTN will also stand to gain by having a base station in your community.

MTN and other telecommunication companies are set up to make profit, perhaps they have carried out feasibility study and discovered it is not viable for them to have their service in your community. Unfortunately, you cannot force them to come to your village.

@op, as a specialist in this field the likely reason MTN or any other telecom coy are avoiding your village/community is because of unwelcoming manner of the youths or elders in that area. I've seen communities where telecom coys had to abandon their mast and network equipments because dangers poised my host community such as vandalism, beating of service engineers, stealing of diesels and equipments etc.
To attract telecom firm to build mast in your community, you will need to assure them of safety life and properties installed.
you can contact IHS or ATS(America Towers) to visit your community for assessment. cheers!

Glo responds to this request faster than any other networks. My town has same issue, I wrote to MTN, AirtelNG, and Glo, and Glo responded within 6 months and call and sent me an email they have gone live. Your mentioning only 5 villages might not help your case, check other surrounding villages that may benefit and mention them by names and estimate the population. Visit Glo website and AirtelNG, since I made the request to MTN they didn't even reply my email, upon listing my family and relatives numbers amounting to 40. State to Glo your willingness to give out the land free, please but not so free and the safety of their installation. But if you have access to other networks, make use of what you have and save your self the headache. Funny that immediately Glo went live, MTN, AirtelNG, Etisalat became square.

You guys won't believe that I went on a vacation to a village in Benin called Obayantor i(Edo state)

For the two weeks I spent there, no service
Not only on Mtn but on glo as well ....
They told me that it's only airtel that works there...

I was shocked.. Anyway, they are enjoying stable electricity...

Please, network providers..Go to that village and help them..please.

its very disheartening when others are enjoying a basic necessity and you are being left out.

Do something biko
