I am new here and I really need your help. We want to move to Canada but my hubby want us ( myself and 2kids) first then he will join later. My question is who is going to be the Principal,we both have just BSC and hubby working experience is 10yrs and mine is 1.
Do I need immigration agent to process it for us.
We are scheduled for ielts exams next month.
Please what are the process.

If she gets a new test result with a minimum of 7 in reading and other scores remaining constant, then her crs score will jump to 431 without Ielts & Eca for accompanying spouse.

Please I received the following email from WES about my verification. They are not mentioning anything about email. Is this the standard email they send to everyone or they actually sent hard photocopies of my credentials to my school for verification? I need clarification please

I know of five people who evaluated with Wes and the person that helped with our verifications said Wes sends verification to oau via email.

Anyone can get a job before leaving school. You're going to have to work with your employment letter as it was given to you. CIC might just count from the point where you graduated and officially qualified to practice.

Do they start counting from the date on the B.Sc. certificate or NYSC Discharge certificate?

If WES has sent verification mail to LASU. First of all, check with the verification unit (first floor) in Exams and Records to confirm receipt of the verification mail. If it's in, you need to proceed to Sterling Bank inside the campus to pay N10,000 into LASU Third Party Account. You then take the copy of the teller to Block 6 in Admin Building to convert it to receipt. After this you proceed to Exams and Record and give them the receipt so they can respond to WES accordingly.

I am equally waiting for LASU to respond to WES Verification mail after I sorted out the above process.

Quick update!!!!

LASU has delivered hubby's transcript to WES finally and verification sent to LASU. Really appreciate all.
now to pursue verification with LASU.

Still waiting for UI oooo, no response per verification yet. hmmm the only delay is "no light in the school" as reported.
I am tired of naija.

ECA WES- June 9

certificates sent: hellofax June 13 acknowledged 16

Transcript Unilag June 10 sent 3rd July

Request for verification- July 18 sent 28

Request for verification (wanted to evaluate msc only, unilag sent bsc transcripts as well) August 8

went on riot with calls, fax, tweet and mail to evaluate only msc, WES said dey want to evaluate bsc too.

2nd verification sent- August 18

ECA ETA 7th september

ECA arrival 6th september 12pm

while wearing swim trunks to dive in (concluding registration) draw was done- 435

EE pool dive in- 6th September - CRS 473

You do not need an immigration agent. I'd say your destiny is in your hand.
If your husband's age is not too high, he can be the PA due to his years of experience. But if he's very much older, I'd say you should be the PA.
Nevertheless, both of you should attempt the IELTS and aim to score minimum of LRSW8777. Also both of you should evaluate your credentials.
Maybe if you give more details, we can provide more help.

Please does anyone here have any idea if the Verification request WES sends to institutions is separated for each document. ie Transcript Verification on one hand and Certificate Verification on the other. As it is, my alma mata charges 10k for each of these. I am just wondering if I were to only pay for Transcript verification, if it would serve. My transcript already states Date degree was awarded.
