The coalition of Nothern youth groups has stated that it will ignore the 'provocative' actions of the Indigenous people of Biafra(IPOB) group, following the attack carried out on some Hausa traders in Port Harcourt on Wednesday.

The coalition has earlier issued a quit notice to Igbos living in Northern Nigeria but withdrew it after facing widespread criticisms. Speaking at a press conference in Kano on Wednesday, the Spokesman of the group, Abdulaziz Suleiman said;

 "All the violent activities playing out are well planned to escalate by 2019 and starting from 2018 to prevent a successful conduct of elections and eventually the collapse of this Buhari government and democracy in Nigeria.

In this situation, it is essential that the north and northerners remain restrained and refuse to be provoked into reprisals which is the ultimate hope of the conflict instigators.

The agitations and disturbances that have been ongoing ceaselessly since the coming of Buhari/Osibanjo administration are aimed at rendering the country practically ungovernable and ushering in of anarchy and instability, thereby occasioning a change of government by whatever means.
And the singling out of Buhari for attacks is a tactic to cause inter-regional crisis possibly leading to general unrest,"

Suleiman commended governor Ikpeazu of Abia state for imposing a 3-day curfew in the state following the crisis.

As a Rivers man that have lived all my life in Rivers State we have had cordial relationship with all tribes and ethnic groups across our great nation . We will never attack Hausas, Ibos or Yorubas - We are in for a united Nigeria where justice , equity, equality and fairness is enshrined in our constitution and national life . Any attack on any ethnic group within the boundaries of Rivers State and the entire Niger Delta wasn't carried out by us or one of us except for some misguided elements among us with their Ipob collaborators to cause problems and chaos. Nigeria has only two tribes and they are the RICH and the POOR. I also believe that the people can change their destiny but not at a break neck adventure which has no basis for rational understanding like Ipob and the current useless Nigerian Government.

We will not support Biafra until it is totally free of land grabbing and expansionist tendencies and respect for ethnic boundaries like the old Nigeria we all love to hate.

Nigeria with her numerous challenges still remain the only hope for black Africa and we must protect it jealously because if we lose it we will never be the same again. We must realize that our problem is the leadership and not regional or under any backward religious pretext by the Northern Muslims and the fake overzealous Southern Christians. We must therefore look at our skin color firer before looking at region and religion. The West will sell you weapons to kill yourselves - Dont ever start a fight in your own house no matter how provoked because your lovely daughters,sons, brothers, sisters, mothers, fathers and your good neighbors would be the one paying the ultimate price.
