You don't see much prospects in Medicine really?.The best medical courses are Dentistry and Medicine."it is at par with medicine"holds a lot,you don't expect people to start breaking it down(google it,you are a student).physiotherapy is a nice course but when it comes to comparism,dentistry is way better.

Is there no scenario where Physiotherapy is better than Dentistry
As i hv choosen Physio already cos i hv this feeling that physiotherapy will get better than it is ,in the nearest future..
also...am thinking i like physio more..
BUT then....,more than anything, i wont like to have any regrets whatsoever, in the nearest future
plus i still hv the opportunity to change to Dentistry if want.

There will always be a scenario where a physiotherapist is better off than a dentist.But its quite rear especially in NIGERIA.Physiotherapy is still new in Nigeria.Just follow your heart.

It is an advantage because right now all facilties are still new, it is accredited and the lecturers and staff of the department have that closeness with the students since they are not much.

This is really funny anyway. Physio and dentistry, u came to seek for advice, I thought is dentistry and medicine. Dentistry is one of d best medical course to study. Note: U will do all wat medics student do couple with ur dental courses.
U dont need anybody to tell u DAT u should choose Dentistry over any medical course.

Dentistry is like u studying medicine + specialization.
U do all medical courses except obs and gynea.

Even if u are to choose BTW medicine and dentistry, I will advice you to choose Dentistry.

A dentist is a specialize surgeon just like ur Opthalmologist, cardiologist e.t.c they study medicine then specialize. A dentist also study medicine and also specialise at the same time.

My brother don't don't think twice Dentistry is All the way.

So u might really hv something to do with dentistry. You are so ashamed of your erudition that you are calling yourself an ss3 student. Is this what Nigerian education and dentistry in particular has come to. You are a coward who cannot defend his course openly, preferring to hide behind ss3 students, saying nonsense. I am shocked.How can someone like u be involved in a clinical course...I cant believe this

Hello all,

Am in a dilemma right now,
Thing is,...i happen to know someone that knows someone who can secure a spot for me in anyone of these departments
But the P now is that am in finding it very difficult to make a choice at the moment, as i dont want to have any regrets whatsoever
On that note, i humbly request for your individual advice, the kind of advice you would give ur brother as to which course to choose...

BUT, you should know that btw the two, personally i prefer Physiotherapy.... but then am still confused ,as i dont really know the situation of physiotherapy practice in the country,financially and otherwise.
