Golden Eaglets duo of Sani Emmanuel and Onazi Ogenyi are on the verge of securing a deal with English Premier side, Chelsea Football Club.
According to information available to Complete Sports Saturday, the two players who are currently on trials at the West London side have shone brilliantly in almost all the training sessions they had with the Blues prompting special interest from the coach of the side, Carlo Ancelotti.
“Emmanuel and Onazi are currently on trials at Chelsea and the two players have done exceptionally well in all the training sessions,” begins the source.
“When they first arrived Chelsea, the weather conditions were not that okay but despite that, the two guys really showed their class among their teammates in the Blues team B.
“I can also confirm to you that Carlo Ancelotti has also seen them train and the experienced manager is eager to keep them at the club due to their awesome talents.
“Emmanuel has shown them how prolific he is in front of goal with some cool finishing in training, while Onazi on his own part, was particularly impressive with his deft touches and working ability,” the source concluded.
Pint sized hitman, Sani Emmanuel scored four crucial goals for the John Obuh tutored side at last year’s FIFA U-17 World Cup hosted by Nigeria.
Apart from emerging top scorer, he was also voted the Most Valuable Player of the tournament and since then, several European clubsides have been jostling for his signature.
Midfield man Onazi also played a handful of games for the Eaglets, but still did well enough to impress foreign scouts at the end of the biennial tourney.

Sani Emmanuel is a true U17 and an enormous talent. If Chelsea take him he will become one of the greatest footballers of his generation. I have no doubt in that regard. He can be at least as good as Tevez or Rooney.

Chelsea might sign him up now. But in future greedy clubs like Man U will want to snatch him from the clutches of Chelsea. It has happened before(2005).
