Imo PDP women condemn Military siege in the South East, vow to vote APC out in 2019

The pragmatic women of Imo State peoples Democratic Party have condemned the recent military siege in the South Eastern part of this country. The women who spoke through their woman leader, Chief Mrs Maria Mbakwe, during their leadership and stakeholders meeting held today at the party secretariat, 98 Okigwe Road Owerri. Lady Mbakwe urged the federal government to caution the military on their recent activities in the South East.

The women also vowed to make PDP stronger and formidable ahead of the battle in 2019. The women resolved to mobilise support for party across the state. The meeting which had the presence of all the LGA women leaders and some ward representatives also emphasised on the need for the women to take the message of the party to the grassroot. The woman leader reassured the women of the commitment of Barr. Charles Ezekwem led administration in making the party a party of the people. She thanked them for finding time to attend and urged them to imbibe the spirit of sacrifice in other to move the party forward.

The meeting also had the presence of the State deputy Chairman, Sir Martins N Ejiogu, who admonished the women on the need to constantly relate with the people from time to time. He assured them of the support of the SWC any time the need comes up.

The women respectively reassured their support and solidarity to the party and once again pledged their loyalty to Barr. Charles Chukwudi Ezekwem led Imo PDP administration.
