Fast forward to several years later he became sick and frail, even had diabetes. His concubines all deserted him. Asked his wife to relocate with him to the village. Woman said no, that he can't tie her down anymore and that he even neglected her while he was strong and healthy. Both wives got fed up with him eventually and he died last year.
