I tried clicking on a post (as a guest) in a website i manage, and i notice it redirects to a particular page within the website.

But if logged in as an admin, I could get access to the post - able to read the post

i.e if i click the link to any of the posts, it redirects me to the 'About Us' page.

Talk to your web host support. They should be able to help you in a jiffy.

If you're using Windows 10 mobile it could be the culprit. You might want to revert to 8.1. Its not as cool as 10 but its solid. When I updated to 10 I couldn't even login to Nairaland

From what I can see, while designing the blog you didn't create a page that ll "host" your post, hence taking users to your about page. If you go to your dash board go to where the post is and remove the about us link, then Crete a separate page that ll host all your post.

Help someone, please

1. Redirect to another site is cos u edited a the copyright credit at the footer . Some theme developers hide js scripts at the footer that does the redirect when edit or commented out

2. Redirect to another existing page or post is cos the two pages (post) have same seo url. When you created the first page or post say (fellowship shedule times), you made the url to be (fellowship-schedule-time) at the permalink. Then again when you created the second page say (fellowship hours), you still had the seo url as (fellowship-schedule-time) as permalink. Now these two pages/post ll obviously lead same place even with different names

Your Wordpress has been hacked and links redirected.

Change your Metalinks to something more longer.


So you'll need to change your password ASAP to something more secure and make sure to click on "logout from all devices".

Install Jetpack plugin and link your site to your account.

maybe you can install "securi" plugin as well or a 2-factor authenticator like Authy to verify on phone number or code before login.

Finally, Back-date your wordpress version to the last version that worked perfectly well.

I couldn't find any redirect code in the function.php but i wouldn't mind getting an idea on what to look out for
