1 | Tecno T349

The Tecno T349 basic phone has many features which will make you consider buying it. First, this small phone is enabled for dual sim cards. So if you have two major phone numbers for calls and text messages, this phone is just right for you.

The battery capacity of this small phone is 1500mAh. So you should be able to use this small phone for more than two days without charging it. And just to alleviate the boredom that may come with using a basic phone, the Tecno manufacturers decided to include an FM radio as well. With this phone, you can listen to any radio channel of your choice at home or on the move.

The only disadvantage is that this phone has a 4MB RAM and 4MB ROM which is quite small for a basic phone. So you might not be able to save many phone numbers because of the memory space. But if you don’t mind this con, this is a great phone to own.

2 | iMose M3i Dual Sim phone

While many people want a small phone for just calls and messages, others want them because they’re more affordable. Well, that’s what you’ll get with this small phone. The iMose M3i is a Nigerian made small phone with a 1.8 inch coloured screen. Apart from this, this small phone has a rear camera as well as a flashlight which allows you to take pictures for your viewing pleasure.

The only issue we consider a disadvantage of this small phone is the battery capacity which is 800mAh. It is very small compared to the Tecno T349. However, the manufacturers of the phone say the phone should last for five days if it is on standby mode. So if you like the features of the phone and the battery capacity will not be an issue later on, go ahead with your purchase. When you use the phone, kindly let us know your experience with it in the comment section below.

3 | Innjoo L100

The Innjoo L100 is a small phone you will love once you finish reading this review. It has a 1000mAh battery capacity which according to the manufacturers, can give about 10 hours talk time on a single charge. In addition to this, the phone has a camera that lets you capture long-lasting memories.

What's more, the Innjoo L100 has an FM radio you can listen to and a Bluetooth connectivity function. So you can transfer music files to your phone to listen to. It has a 32MB storage which is expandable to 32GB with a micro SD memory card. So all you have to do is sit back and listen to your favourite music for as long as you want.

The only disadvantage, from our observation, is the camera quality which is 0.3MP. We think it is quite low for a phone of such great capacity. What are your thoughts? Do you agree or disagree?

4 | Itel 5600

For just a small amount of money, you can buy this Itel 5600. It’s a dual sim small phone just like the Tecno T349 we mentioned earlier. The phone has an FM radio for you to listen to your favourite radio stations.

Unfortunately, you cannot listen to MP3 or MP4 files on it like the Innjoo L100. The screen is 1.77 inches, making it very portable and comfortable for your palm. Nobody will notice the phone in your hands when you’re using it. Besides these features, this small phone has GPRS for browsing as well as the PalmChat app. Well, the phone seems quite good, but the Innjoo L100 definitely offers more and it’s cheaper. Which phone would you prefer to buy?

5 | Tecno T350

By now, you’re aware that Tecno phones are reasonably reliable and affordable. The Tecno T350 is a small phone with 4MB RAM and 4MB ROM. It has a fantastic battery capacity of 1500mAh. So you can call as much as you want, and listen to the radio for a whole day or two before thinking about charging the phone.

Did we mention this small phone has a back camera as well? Well, it shares the same characteristics with the Tecno T349. Really, there isn’t much difference between the two phones when you evaluate them. It makes us wonder why we need to pay ₦1000 more for the same features. Do you have any idea why? Kindly let us know in the comments section.
