According to Punch Newspaper saying that the President of Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU), Prof Biodun Ogunyemi, stated the Union has suspend its industrial strike after the union Executives had a final meeting with the federal government. The strike which started by August 14th 2017 after which there been several of meetings with the federal government to meet up with the union demands.
