The Yar' Adua Approach To Niger Delta VS Buhari’s Approach To Ipo- Biafra

History Indeed is a better teacher as the saying goes, a wise man is him that learn to learn and unlearn to relearn again,

As The Entire World Watches Operation Python Dance, Dancing In South Eastern Part Of Nigeria, They Began to Ask and To Compare The Action Of The Present President Buhari's Lead Administration To That Of Late Formal President Umaru Musa Yar'Adua

There was a Formal President Of Nigeria Caller Umaru Musa Yar’Adua, HE IS ALSO FROM KASTINA STATE, HE IS A NORTHERN JUST LIKE BUHARI

The Cause which leads to the happening in Nigeria today should not seem as a tribal issue,
Souce

You See THE PROBLEM IS NOT THE STATE NOR THE TRIBE BUT ONE MAN WHOSE OBSOLETE IDEAS ARE UNDEMOCRATIC...

Yar’ Adua is the man...the one in a million He Saw The Happenings In The Niger Delta Part Of Nigeria And Took The Right Approach In Bring Peace To The Region...

Yar’Adua could have ordered the military into the creeks to get militants of the Niger Delta Region, but innocent people will die." - Umaru Musa Yar'Adua used the right approach in tackling the Niger Delta Militancy... By Such Doing Yar’ adua was seen as a true, genuine and a sincere leader. Nigeria Has Ever Hard

THE FACT IS THAT BOTH PRESIDENT ARE FROM NORTH

Buhari is a Fulani. From Northern Part Of Nigeria
Yaradua was a Fulani. From Northern Part Of Nigeria

THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN BOTH
But the difference between Buhari and Yaradua is that Yaradua was an educated and a civilized President whereas Buhari lacks civilization and undemocratic.

Maybe, Maybe not, that's why President Muhammadu Buhari believes in the dictatorship with the use of force and firearms.

Obasanjo increased fuel pump price to N75 from N65. But immediately Yaradua was sworn in, he brought down the price back to N65. But what did Mr. Integrity do?

After promising to sell fuel at N50, he ended up increasing it from N87 to N145 that led to increase in the cost of living yet, take home was not increased but even slashed and hardship was given the opportunity to penetrate.

The difference is leadership. Yaradua was well educated. He won Buhari at the 2007 election by a margin of roughly 20 million votes. A landslide victory.
A defeated him in the north south east and west.
A man compassionate to all Nigerians

They Killed president Yaradua
They killed a good man

Ur camparism of Niger Delta Militancy with Ipob struggle is totally misplaced.

Niger Delta Militant neva said they wanted their own country neither were they tribal or religious bigots rather they wanted a greater control of their resources. Hence their struggle had a human face which could b addressed.

But Ipob termed every oda tribe fools, called them different names and even went as far as religion bigotry to say Igbos attending churches with Yoruba G.Os' r imbeciles.

I see Ipob as a tool being used by d APC govt as excuse for implementation of draconian laws dat will suppress d already ioppressed populace cos laws against freedom would b enacted..

@OP the ideologies behind the two groups are different and they have to be managed differently, hence the difference between the approach of the late Yar'adua & PMB.

Nice job OP,just edit some of your spellings and all that, and I will posit my personal opinion:

Both are Katsina,Fulani Northerners, the approach distinguishes their persons.democratic or undemocratic;crude or refined;rule of law or tyranny;President or Shiekh,Boromir or Sauron.

I have heard people reason that Igbos and ND didn't have same ideology.
Not been a spokesperson of ipob and strongly condemn certain aspects of their agitation and methods(inter Alia, the exuberance and a bit over-the-turf idea,BSS,etc),the ideology is unquestionable.
They threatened to burn the zoo as some has said, insulted the President, had a BSS and BNG,without guns asides their flags...nobody was reported kidnapped or killed as documented.

Rewind,ND Militants
Had so many militant groups all having different heads.
They threatened war, they kidnapped both Nigerians, oil workers and Expatriates, told the FG to leave their lands.
They had heavy cache of arms and ammunition, rocket launchers,HMGs,M2 machine guns, speedboats, etc.
They attacked oil workers,soldiers,pipelines,oil-rigs.
They had several shoot-outs with the army with casualties on both ends.
Notwithstanding,their own was Vice-President.

Now analyse both, one threatening to burn the zoo
And those who are in shootouts with the Nigerian Army.

As a Nation,we forget so quickly.

The main difference/truth OP is that
-There was a leader with better understanding of democratic norms
-The ND militants had a ransom, oil.
This is the mainstay of the economy hence the FG had to react.
Kidnapping oil-workers made most expatriates return to their countries, and it spelt doom.
It affected the money politicians will eat,it affected everything and continued unabated,FG had to reason.

Igbos and the Igbo-land has no ransom.
No Oil,no mineral-deposit with enough command of foreign-earnings to ransom with.
No trade on tourism,No production Companies, little deposits of oil.
The FG thus, does not care and won't care honestly.

Hence, the S/E Governors if they are honest will begin to ask what happened to the Coal at Nkalagu as well as developing potentials to be able to compete favorably so as to stake a challenge and make our lands more profitable.

It takes nothing away from the fact that UMY was a wise and democratic leader,a master-servant extraordinaire, and listens.
