Wolfsburg has stumbled out of the gate this season with just one victory from five matches, scoring just three goals and never netting more than once in a match – though they have been somewhat stout defensively, with the exception of a 3-0 defeat at home to Dortmund on opening day.
The solitary defeat this campaign has seen Bayern slip to second in the table, however, trailing leaders Borussia Dortmund by a single point, but they will fancy their chances of moving into first tonight, at least temporarily, given their recent dominance over the Wolves.
