An unidentified boy in Tucuman, Argentina, accidentally swallowed a piece of a pet toy and then couldn't stop making squeaking sounds.

In a video recorded by his emergency room doctor, Dr. Santiago Gomez Zuviria, the unnamed 8-year-old child opens his mouth and begins to squeak nonstop. After administering an anesthetic, Zuviria was able to remove the noisy culprit from his throat.



"The whistle was stuck between the larynx and the pharynx," Zuviria told HuffPost. "His mother was more scared than he was. It was a tragi-comic situation to be honest. I never seen or heard about a case like this in my life."

In a Facebook post that has received more than nine million views, Zuviria shared his video of the boy and his squeaky predicament in order to warn parents about swallowing and choking hazards. The child has since recovered.

"Moral," the post read, "Beware of what children play (with)."
