While the battle in Saudi Arabia, for the right of Women to drive cars may be over, that of Black Slaves in Arabia may not be anywhere near.

In a recent video that has surfaced online, an arab woman is seen driving her car while her old-enough son is made to sit on the legs of a black woman who may just be a slave, as common in the Arabian world.

Ironically, the female driver in the video happens to be one of the leading voices in the fight for Arabian women emancipation. One would wonder why a 3/4 years old child is not allowed to have his own seat. The flagrant abuse and trafficking of blacks who find their way to the kingdom has gone unnoticed and unabated for decades. Rumours have it that it is in the arabian culture to seize travel documents of blacks and simply convert them to domestic slaves. In worse cases, industrial slaves, making them work long hours under the sun with nothing other than a bare floor to sleep as payment.

Unfortunately, the international community is forced to remain silent on the on-going abuse of human rights in that part of the world. A most probable cause of this silence may be the desire to avoid religious sentiments. However a more suspicious reason may be the desire to maintain the cordial crude-oil bilateral trade alliance with the condition of "minding your own business".

If many knew the sort of abuse and denigration Blacks go through in the Arabian peninsula, one would simply wonder why the world remains silent.

Ironically again, Islam is totally against slavery. Although it isn't a crime in Islam, it is encouraged that you free a slave for the sake of Allah, and He shall be pleased with you.

This is no case. The woman looks fresher than how she would have been as an African maid. I'm not even sure she is a maid because she is well seated at the owner side.

There is nothing amiss in the video but that doesn't dispute the fact that there is black slavery in the middle east
