When I read His Word, His face looks more clearer and you're able to see Him more clearly. His Word is a mirror of whom He His. . . to me.

2 Timothy 4:8
in the future there is laid up for me the crown of
righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge,

but also to all who have loved His appearing.



Assuredly, He will appear at His Judgment seat and you will stand before Him in awe, you will marvel in amazement in shock thinking you must be dreaming.

you don't have the Holy Spirit with you, and that's why you don't believe. That's a fact and truth on its own part amongst many.



I believe because the strong feeling that makes me believe is from the conviction of what Christ did for us. The Holy Spirit convicted me, and by so doing, I eventually had that strong 'feeling' which made me believe.



And I will leave you with this also: "Faith comes by hearing, and hearing, by the Word of God"




When you read God's Word, you're hearing Him speak. The Word carries the necessary and essential truth that provides every answers to my [ignorant] question.

I pray, may the dear Lord help your unbelief to a strengthened faith in Him and His Word.

I've done all these a couple of times and have faced multiple relapses. I believe in Christ and attend church but my friend told me that it doesn't just stop at knowing him but most importantly, having a relationship with him. How can this be done?

After accepting Christ's Lordship over one's life, one is bound to face temptation, challenges and setbacks, but such is only for us to endure and to strengthen our desire for Christ, and not make us complain or curse God like satan virtually made Job curse God, due to his appalling and dire condition.

It shouldn't make you think Jesus is not with you or does not know what you're going through. His word tells us that "Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because,
having stood the test, that person will receive the crown
of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him. -James1:12"


Secondly, your friend's right. Thank the Lord Jesus you have such a friend who inspires you by sharing God's meesage. Having a relationship with Christ is with a steadfast heart and devoted hope, faith and trust in Him.

Sam, having a relationship with Christ comes by;

• Talking to him by spending at least an hour with Him anytime you want to talk to Him via prayer in everyday and moment in life.

• Reading and hearing His Word. You need to believe in it and act on it.

• Doing His will and obeying His commandment.

• Praising and worshiping Him at all time with your heart.

• Loving Him with all your heart, soul, mind and strength [Luke 10:27].

Sam, these are the five major keys in having a good relationship with Christ the Lord.

Now, ask yourself, "what am I missing amongst these?"
