Agricultural Farmland Market In Abuja: The Repeat of History! by kudosamass(m): 10:29am On Oct 15, 2017
Agricultural farm land in the metropolitan City of Abuja has become hot cake of recent. Since the Federal Government shifted its Policy to the Agro economy, the Farmland Market in Abuja has been invaded by smart investors who want to position themselves for the about to explode Agric Sector.

Ironically, Nigerians living abroad and foreigners seem to have more information about happenings in Nigeria that the people living inside Nigeria. This is because most of the people buying up Abuja Farmlands now, are foreigners and some Nigerians living abroad. For instance, few days ago, on the 10th of October, the Israeli Deputy Ambassador to Nigeria, Nadav Goren, told newsmen in Abuja that, "There are many Israelis in Nigeria, who manage and operate companies that focus on agriculture..." Majority of these guys are in Abuja buying up farm lands for their Agro investments. The Chinese and Indians are also very much around.

There is no doubt that Abuja Agriculture is the next boom! Even some Real Estate investors have shifted from buying Estate plots to buying Farm or Agriculture lands. These guys are smart and have inside information that by the time the Government Policy on Agriculture starts to take shape, there is going to be rush from people trying to acquire Farm lands or Agriculture lands in Abuja. They are buying up these Agriculture lands now with peanuts. By the time farmlands in Abuja become scarce, they will start reselling at a very high rate.

There is no better time to invest in Abuja Agriculture or Farm Land than now! Even if you do not want to go into farming or Agro Investment, you can resell these lands and make fortunes like those who invested earlier in Abuja residential plots. You remember the story of how Maitama lands were sold for N50,000 per plot those days? But now Maitama lands sell between N300m to N1 billion! Guess what! History is about to repeat itself in Abuja. These large hectares of farm lands in Abuja that are being sold one, one Naira today, will be sold for hundreds of millions of Naira in no distant time. What out!

Some are still arguing, "but these farm layouts are still in the bush!" My answer is that Maitama was still in the bush when it was sold for 50k or less. In any case, do you expect the Federal Capital Territory Administration to allocate Agriculture lands in the City Center? The answer is a big no! Farmland layouts are designed and allocated away from residential and commercial areas because of the nature of the business.
