TOPIC: ENJOYING DIVINE PROVISION (III)
BIBLE READING: PSALM 34:8-10
MEMORISE: The young lions lack and suffer hunger; but those who seek the LORD shall not lack any good thing. (Psalm 34:10)

This time that economic recession has become global phenomenon, especially in our country Nigeria, the people of God have to shift their focus from the system of the government of this world to God Almighty. We have dual citizenship (Phil. 3:20). Although, we are living in this world, yet we are heavenly citizens. The state of our economic well-being is not determined by the system of the government of this world.
However, we need to play our role to tap divine provision. One of the important roles to play is to learn to SEEK the Lord. According to the Psalmist, the young lions do lack and suffer hunger, but those who seek the Lord shall not lack any good thing. The phrase, the young lions, is a symbolic language used for the strong, influential people of the world. There are certain people in the world who, like the lions, are kings over others. They are great and mighty men indeed. With all their greatness, strength and influence, they still lack. They suffer want in one way or the other.
God provides everything necessary for His people who seek Him, and relieves their wants. To seek God is to pursue, search and to worship Him wholeheartedly. The process of seeking God is a state of the heart. The condition of your heart will determine how far you will go in seeking God. We need to set our hearts to seek God (1 Chro. 22:19). If you can put God first or give Him first place in your life, He will surely provide all things you need (Matt. 6:33).

PRAYER POINTS:
1. Help me Lord to always seek You wholeheartedly.
2. Make it possible for me, Oh Lord, to give You first place in my heart.
3. Lord give us eagerness to seek You more than ever before, regardless of the economic recession in our country.
