For disobeying a court order, the son of former Vice-President, Atiku Abubakar, has been remanded on Wednesday by a Magistrate Court sitting in Tinubu, Lagos Island Local Government, Lagos state, for allegedly committing contempt of court.

The son, identified as Aminu, was alleged to have disobeyed an order made by a Chief Magistrate, Kikelomo Ayeye, recently over the custody of six-year-old Amir Abubakar, who he was alleged to have taken away from the custody of his estranged wife, Fatimo Bolori.

Sources said that that before the first hearing earlier, both Fatimo and Aminu had divorced six years ago. Meanwhile, with the agreement that, since the children would be in custody of their mother, Fatimo, they should be allowed to spend their vacation with their father.

When the children were on holidays four years ago, Aminu, however, requested that they should be released to him to travel abroad for vacation and thereafter, refused to let them return to their mother.

Worried by the continued delay in returning the children, it was gathered that Fatimo filed a suit demanding that her former husband leep to earlier agreement.

And when the case was approved for hearing, it was gathered that the magistrate had during the first hearing ordered the respondent in the suit marked FCL/29/2017, between U. F. Bolori Vs M. A. Abubakar, to produce the six-year-old in his custody at the second hearing.

Let (Atiku) settle this instead of proferring half-baked solution to national issues.

You forgotten that your father is no more in power, hence your contempt for a court of law. You better don't jeopardise your father's future ambition.
