Christiano Ronaldo's lesson!
When he received one of his awards recently, Ronaldo dedicated it to a certain ... Alberto Fantrau. Then said: "Yes I am a great footballer and all my success is thanks to my friend Alberto"
People looked at each other and said, "Who is this Mr. Fantrau?"

Then Ronaldo went on: "We played together in a youth team. When Sporting of Lisbon recruiters came to observe us, they told us that the striker who scored the most goals will be recruited into the sports academy.

That day we won 3-0. I scored the first goal and then Albert scored the 2nd with the head. And then the 3rd goal was the one that impressed everyone. Alberto started from the wing, then found himself face to face with the keeper, dribbled the goalkeeper and all he had to do was push the ball into the empty goal. In the meantime I was running to his side. And instead of shooting into the empty goal, Alberto decided to pass the ball to me and I scored. This is how I find myself at the Sporting Lisbon Academy. After the game I went to him, and asked him "why did you do that?" And he replied, "Because I know that you are better than I"

Curious to know more, the journalists began to investigate and were able to meet this Alberto Fantrau to ask him if the story told by Ronaldo is true, and he confirmed it, adding that his career as a footballer ended after this....

Nigeria vs Argentina will be live on Kwese Free Sports.

You can also watch it on DBN Channel 32 in Lagos.

NTA Network (terrestrial, not satellite) might also show it because they show some content from Kwese Free Sports, but I'm not certain about that.

Thunder wey go fire these Telemundo and Zee world people no be for here. Man go work, come back tired, when person go wan retire inside chair to watch match, Agent Telemundo & Co go show. Those guy matter don tire. Most men dey suffer is silence. Na viewing centre sure passcheesy.

Modified; The match is 5:30pm.

Thank God Messi isn't playing. Argentina is a one-man team. Since their Oga-@-the-top isn't playing, Aguero is the only problem and can be pocketted. I believe we can get something out of this game. Both team to score.

When a dog bites a man, it's no news but when a man bites a dog, it is news. If they beat us, it's no news but if otherwise, news go yappagringringrin.

Adepoju: Eagles Should Expect Tough Game vs Argentina With Or Without Messi

By James Agberebi Of Complete Sports

Former Nigeria international Mutiu Adepoju has dismissed the absence of Barcelona star Lionel Messi from the international friendly between Argentina and Nigeria stating it will not make any difference.

After securing they places for next year's World Cup, the Super Eagles and Argentina will square off in a friendly in Krasnodar, Russia, on Tuesday.

But Argentina will be without star forward Messi who flew back to Spain after helping his team pip FIFA 2018 World Cup Russia 1-0 in a friendly game on Saturday.

But Adepoju who faced Argentina on three occasions during his Super Eagles career (USA 1994, Confederation Cup 1995, Korea/Japan 2002), said the South Americans still parade world class players who can hurt Nigeria.

"We should be expecting a tough game, as usual, as it use to be with Argentina," Adepoju told completesportsnigeria.com. "Playing against Argentina is not always easy. We should expect a fierce and interesting game.

"Messi not being part of the game does not matter. We are going to play against an Argentina side that parade great players.

"They will put up their best to make sure that they give us a good game. They have a great squad with players playing in big clubs in the world," the 1994 Africa Cup of Nations winner said.

Im sorry but Nigeria will beat them - im tired of hearing these Nigerian talk trash of nigeria - nigeria will surprise a lot of people. Think about it - we are a better team than 4 years ago were we struggled to pick the right players yet Argentina just beat us.

We have players like Henry Onyekuru who i rate as a future start

This Argentina side is not very good. We will beat them

I'm ashamed of people like you.

Its people like you that will support their club side with all their heart even in their worst times but unnecessarily mock their own national team and never give them a chance.

Arsenal as backslided as they are, they still have die hard fans.
And we're far better than them in terms of achievement.
