Woke Up to hear M.I abaga paid Nas for few lines, "Maybe" to revive his nose diving career Or to satisfy the thirst of "Hip Hop heads" was not too good because Nas might be a legend but featuring current top flight artist would have been better just like Wiz did featuring breezy, future, Riri among others, M.I seems to be the only artist who still have the traits of core rap in Nigeria with the likes of Vector, Olamide, Phyno and ill bliss drifting towards Afro hip hop cuz of the financial benefit, pardon me but Mode 9 keep winning awards for past glory. Can any artist still revive the dying Hip Hop status in Nigeria?

No hip pop ain't dead here yet!

Our rappers admires singers alot!

Here we rap buh no hustle

Riding cars worth 40m where your yearly take home is jst 20m

Jayz made hundreds of millions from ROC-A-WEAR

And joint ownership from a major league basketball team

Including luxury yatch rentals

Ours is just good in taking selfie and heading to the club lobbying political office holder for the next big gig!

so many factors militating against rap music, Mode9 tried making rap head Up in Nigeria with rap battle shows but low turn Up instead project fames and likes takes the accolades.
