Who Is Who In Nigeria: The Full List Of The Top 50 Richest Nigerian Billionaires by consultmartins(m): 10:46pm On Mar 15, 2010
For a long now, there has been a silent battle of who's who on the list of nigeria's richest billionaires. To quench the thirst for knowledge and put an end to this long time exaggeration, i decided to carry out an individual research. The comprehensive result of this research is what i want to share here on Nairaland.

Most people on this list decided to lie low and avoid the lime light of the Forbes ranking but they are billionaires by all standards. These men and women stinkingly rich. I also want to let you know that if all these men should declare their assets to Forbes, it will raise some dust for some of them and it will also create a battle for the first position between them.

The criteria for coming up with this list is this:

1. By the value of their shares held in quoted companies.
2. The size and market share of their companies
3. The number of companies they own and its assumed value

Chief James Kalu of abia State should be on the list. he is know as the silient billionaire, he owns kelly sales nig ltd, he owns jk investments llc. he owns an oil drilling well in Saudi Arabia, that produces about 50,000 barrels a day. he owns hotels in USA and Europe. he's estimated to be worth over $80million. he deserves to be on that list.

Your list is outdated. Some people in that list were "once billionaires". The list of rich men is very inexhaustive.
Re: Who Is Who In Nigeria: The Full List Of The Top 50 Richest Nigerian Billionaires by bigdoo: 6:38pm On Jan 04, 2011
It appears that the surest way to become a billionaire in Nigeria is through politics as the list featured most of our former presidents and politicians. What a shame for Nigeria. Compare that to what obtains in United Kingdom and USA. Most of their past presidents and prime ministers are just ordinary men. No wonder we are killing each other because of political power.

You are joking, these men listed by the poster are worth at least $1billion dollars each. So stop being childish here. $80million dollars is just the price of 2 Gulf stream private jets.
