Thank you for that position. However, there is nothing they can do about premiership until the exclusive rights held by their competitor expires. It may interest you to know that Kwese is getting wide acceptance amongst Nigerians.

I know it costs much to start such a business, and also the company wants to break even as soon as possible. But, starting with a monthly subscription of over six thousand naira is too much. The present content of just one EPL match per week, no Laliga, no Bundesliga, no Serie A, no Ligue 1 does not in any way correspond with the price at all. Please don't make mention of NBA , NHL or NFL , the reception of both sports in this part of the world (Africa) is very low. And we know quite well that prices of such product (pay TV) are reviewed to often go upward. So in some years to this time, let say 3 to 4 years, we will be talking about over ten thousand naira for a month sub. Kwese should not forget also that it will be very hard to get a substantial percentage of the right to the contents that makes its competitors gain much more subscribers over the years.
I like the brain behind Kwese, which is Strive. I like his philosophy about business. And also I'm not happy that he was denied that opportunity of making profit from Nigeria's Telecommunication market. But the present start up cost of his latest brand to Nigeria can be likened to him shooting himself on the foot.

Thank you for your contribution. If quality content is the yardstick for setting subscription rate, NGN 6275 monthly is quite fair. Do not forget that when their competitor did not have the rights for Premiership and Champions league, Nigerians patronized them. Quality content is not all about football. Besides, Kwese TV have exclusive rights for Carabao Cup, they show live Championship games, they have rights for FA Cup, Copa del Rey and have acquired the Free to Air and PayTV rights for 2018 World Cup. Do you know that Kwese TV has a 24/7 Entrepreneurial Channel showing premium business content and shows not seen in this part of the World? To say the rate of NGN 6275 monthly is high for Kwese TV is questionable. Again, thank you for sharing your views.
