1. I heard from popular opinion that the muslim Holy book the Al Quran was written by God and delivered by Angel jibril (as widely upheld by Muslims) and given to prophet muhammad is this affirmative?

2. If yes, are there any other proof backing this claim apart from the prophet's ? ( eye witness, or historical proofs)

3. If the above were probably just hearsays, how else did the Al Quran came into existence?

ever before the prophet hood of Muhammad he was trustworthy in the society and they named him Al-Amin (the trustworthy), and normally he found joy in meditation inside a cave out side of the city,

one day an angel Jubril (Gabriel) came to Him while in the cave and asked Him to read but as we know that he has never able to read nor write so he answered that I don't know how to read, read the Angel said for the second time and Muhammad said I cant read, and for the 3rd time the Angel pressed him with his wings and said to Him:
''Proclaim! (or read!) in the name of thy Lord and Cherisher, Who created-
2.Created man, out of a (mere) clot of congealed blood:
3.Proclaim! And thy Lord is Most Bountiful,-
4.He Who taught (the use of) the pen,-
5.Taught man that which he knew not.'' (Surat 96:1-5)

these was the first revelation came from Allah to Muhammad through the Angel Jubril and since then He started to receive this Angel for time to time for the span of 23 years and the Quran was coming down bit by bit as the situation warrant till it was completed at the period of these 23 years.

Now the prophet does not know how to write but Allah strengthen him with excellent and unfailing memory that He could hold on to all what was reviled to him of the Quran, then he will read it to some of his friend and followers who are good writers to write it, some on stone, skin of animal etc and they will read it to Muhammad from beginning till end for correction from him. And these is the Quran we have today (summary)

If man was made from blood clot, then why will a clot kill someone in thrombotic fashion.

The bones also form after skin formation, it forms from the mesodermal layer. All the 3 layers are there at once, nobody is bringing skin from a separate place.

Abu Bakr sent for me after the (heavy) casualties among the warriors (of the battle) of Yamama (where a great number of Qurra' were killed). 'Umar was present with Abu Bakr who said, 'Umar has come to me and said, The people have suffered heavy casualties on the day of (the battle of) Yamama, and I am afraid that there will be more casualties among the Qurra' (those who know the Qur'an by heart) at other battle-fields, whereby a large part of the Qur'an MAY BE LOST, unless you collect it. And I am of the opinion that you should collect the Qur'an." Abu Bakr added, "I said to 'Umar, 'How can I do something WHICH ALLAH’S APOSTLE HAS NOT DONE?' 'Umar said (to me), 'By Allah, it is (really) a good thing.' So 'Umar kept on pressing, trying to persuade me to accept his proposal, till Allah opened my bosom for it and I had the same opinion as 'Umar."
