Unlike other institutions, the church has motivated the most lasting, unselfish, essential, courageous endeavours on earth. Things like missions, schools, hospitals, food pantries, rehab centres, and orphanages

The church in Nigeria shouldn't be an exception. I'm not Catholic but I admire the sacrifices they make

The mother church leads while others should follow... He could have afforded it if he wanted one and nobody would have complained but then he needed to act Christ like for others to follow. Not the bunch of criminals we got in Nigeria scamming people.
How could he have 'afforded' it, by dipping his hands into the Church's proceeds Beyond service, what enterprise are in his name that would have been able to make him 'afford' a 185,000 ride?

What he did is commendable and it is quite shameful that Nigerian Pastors would not have done this, not in the least of ways. Just when you thought you have had enough, Oyedepo added a fifth private jet to his tally and his busy looking to outbuy any pastor who ventures into the private jet deal. Useless set of humans angry

I agree he should auction it but he could use his status to "add value" to the car before auctioning it .
I would suggest he pays the current value of the car to the proposed charity from church funds immediately and uses the car for a few activities
The car would auction for a lot more in 20 or 30 years if they come and claim one miracle or another grin
