On december 1 2017, the world cup teams will be seeded into 4 pots,this seeding corresponds with the ranking of the teams from october fifa ranking,the top 8 teams will be seed into pot 1,then the next 8 into the next pot 2 and others teams ranking respectively to the two remaining pots,with russia's advantage as the host they are privilaged to be seed with the top 7 teams in pot 1 making it a total of 8. POT 1-Russia,Germany,Brazil,Portugal,Argentina,Belgium,Poland,France. POT 2-Spain,Peru,Switzerland,England,Colombia,Mexico,Uruguay,Croatia.
