Like a flush it appears never wanting to disappear.
You acted in a clownesque manner,
Entertaining those who cared but to stare.
If only wishes were horses beggars would ride, you wished for one thing, that the moment would die.
The ground never opened up,
Tomorrow stayed farther up,
Even a bozo knew you had just messed up.
Gradually you recline to your chair, you pull the curtains together, praying the drama wouldn't last forever.
