Guy, you are a proper ignoramus. Cosmas Maduka was unceremoniously kicked out of Access Bank board due to the scandal that resulted from him standing as surety for his fellow Nnewi kinsman, Ifeanyi Uba, after the latter defaulted on the initial agreement and refused to pay back the loan to Access. For years now, IBO's have been telling us how important they are to Lagos. They have been threatening us that they will leave Lagos, and that if they leave, the state's economy will collapse. Right from 2014 when I first knew nairaland till now, IBO's are still reapeting this same anthem. Despite the insult they receive from yoruba people, they have refused to leave. Instead, they keep multiplying and forsaking their land.
The way I see it, iboland will become totally empty by 2030.

Eminent personalities led by Chairman/Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Coscharis Group , Dr. Cosmas Maduka made the call at this year’s League of Anambra Professionals (LAP) End-of-Year Lecture and Dinner in Lagos.

Maduka, who spoke on the topic: “Capitalising on untapped opportunities in Anambra”, said his firm pays N450 million tax yearly and he personally pays  N50 million yearly. He added that his state, Anambra, would benefit greatly from these monies for its growth, if he lived or was based there.

How much does Maduka make in income to be paying that much tax?

If he was in Anambra would he make half that income?

http://www.thescoopng.com/2013/01/27/cbn-sacks-coscharis-chairman-maduka-from-access-bank-board-fines-bank/

During investigation and Senate hearing of Stealer Oduah on bulletproof BMW, Maduka was found to have colluded with Ngozi Iweala using import waivers to defraud government. Each state of the federation have a number of import waivers allocated to them as privilege. Maduka colluded with Ngozi and used two waivers allocated to Lagos State, without the State authorization, to go around customs and bring in the two bulletproof vehicles.

Lets not forget that Stealer Oduah told Senate that the two BMWs were gifted to her by the Ministry of Aviation. If this was true, why is a Federal Agency using a waiver that belongs to State to import a vehicle laundered through a non-bid purchase from a private seller? Did Ministry Aviation get Lagos State approval to use its waiver?

This thief need to shut his mouth before we reopen the case and make him go to court to answer how came in posession of the waiver?

But you never hear jobless youths from the European countries tell those tax paying invesotrs "Go back to your village", do you?

So it pains you when they ask you to go and develop your own village and stop dragging online what you cannot drag in real life?

You all Igbos dragging Lagos with Yorubas need reality check and stop sounding like you all will die without Lagos.

Seems you do not know he is a major owner of Access bank and sat on the board.

The real owners of Access Bank are actually represented by the ex-chairman Gbenga Oyebode who passed th chairmanship baton to another Yoruba woman Mosun Belo-Olusoga.
The Problem is the Yorubas just like the Hausas are heavy but silent achievers. If Yorubas should start chest beating the way you Igbos do, nairaland servers will go into permanent freeze. grin grin grin

Gen TY Danjuma own May & Baker.

Odumodu and Okafor already sold their inheritance to the General. He single handedly provided the funds for the establishment of the food division in Ota.

I'm not intrested in the others since they are just distributors.

Yorubas don't really need to prove anything to you Igbos, you are the ones suffering from complex issue and need to prove a thing about your presence in Lagos.

Emzor, distributor?
Neros, distributor?

Las las, you go dey OK.
