House, what is the best tp and guidelines to track w3a with a 90cm-1M dish? Location is Abuja. Can someone also state a list of stations receivable on this bird? Thanks all.

Go Africa is still on it's old TP 11103 H 3798. For sometime now, it only shows up between late night and dawn: on my 90cm.

i watch w3a presently but my receiver cant blind scan so pls anyone i need a feed

George pls only lcf tp is showing on my daarbox other will not show anything but i change receiver everythng came up. What could be wrong?

edit the frequencies by copying what you have on the strong decoder to the daarbox. that is how to use the decoder. remember that daarbox has no blindscan. cheers!

Already did that. I even deleted entire tps and re entered everythng one after the other, yet no show. Whereas the other decorder works well. Pls think of somethng

leave the strong in the original position and loop out from the lnb out port of the strong to the daarbox. then copy all the parameters from strong to daarbox. it should work.

i tracked sirus 4 yesterday with the hope that with my 2.4m mesh dish i wont have to move the the dish to the left
to nail w3. all i did was to keep coming down thinking that with this move i will nail w3. Wrong!
i did all could yesterday with out success.
what am i doing wrong.
All help is needed.

try and get a minimum of strong 4663x decoder and save yourself all this stress of requesting for feeds!

Sure you can, but for your location I'm not sure if you will face east or west. Also, note that when you are asking a question in a forum outside your immediate geographical location it's advisable to include your location so you can get positive answers.

yes, you can track w3a in kenya with your 6ft dish. your dish elevation will be roughly 55.2° and the azimuth (magnetic) will be roughly 272.1°

try it out and lets know if you succeed.

@George,thanx very much for the eye opener.I would ask you to assist me even more.How long will be the lnbf holder from the centre? Am I in any away going to disturb the position of intelsat 906,7 or 10 and NSS-12? Your assistance is highly appreciated,Oga George.

no need to readjust the lnb. just set it at the focal lenght and it should be fine. note however that you need a different type of lnb to recieve w3a as compared to 906/c

w3a is a ku bird while 906/c is c band.
