Do not be dismayed by what they say of you
Do not linger on their thoughts of you
Made apparent from years of abuse
Folks fear what cannot be understood
So from their perspective
It's easily misconstrued
You don't break easy
They lack the strength you possess
Their aesthetics they value
But in you beauty shines through
Think and do
Rid yourself of parasites
Whose sole aim is to drain you
You are wild and exotic so be it
You have a right to freedom
