THE FOLLY OF DISOBEDIENCE OF PRESIDENTIAL DIRECTIVES AND CORRUPTION FIGHTING BACK IN AN ERA OF CHANGE:THE FNPH-USELU CONUNDRUM.

In the last week of November 2017,the Presidency directed the Medical Director of Federal Neuro-Psychiatric Hospital Uselu Benin to immediately reinstate some staff who were illegally suspended or eased from office by the Medical Director Dr.Sunday Osasu Olotu.

Dr.Sunday Osasu Olotu working in cahoots with some elements in the Nigerian Police had serialy lost phantom criminal cases orchestrated against his staff.He goes around with a contingent of heavily armed policemen within the hospital premises.There are allegations that some of them have been mandated to shoot some of the reinstated staff once they step into the hospital premises under the guise of accidental discharge!

Dr.S.O Olotu did biometric capturing of non staff in the wee hours of Saturday 2nd December 2017.These individuals who are mostly Nurses are yet to get any letters of appointment.They were thereafter ditected to visit IPPIS office Abuja for data capturing all in a desperate bid to cover up the tracks of ghost workers.

On Monday December 4,2017 Dr S.O Olotu paid the Nigerian Police to Station a Van and some police men at the entrance of the hospital premises fearing that the reinstated staff were coming to resume duties.In a desperate and shameful move some thugs and cultists with dangerous weapons were lodged in the hospital guest house with a plan to unleash mayhem if the "accidental discharge" strategy of the police fails.Can the Edo State Commissioner of Police claim ignorance of this plot to sabotage Presidential directives!

The folly in all these is that the reinstated staff shall be paid their salaries and allowances up to date.But what about the wellbeing of the staff and innocent patients who are within such a toxic environment. Dr.S.O Olotu an absconder from service was appointed by his sponsors for the sole purpose of covering the monumental sleaze in the Hospital.
