Under-17 striker Sani Emmanuel has trialled with both Premier League clubs Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur, and both are now keen to bring the young  Nigerian to England, according to The Mirror.

Emmanuel was awarded the Golden Ball as the best player in FIFA Under-17 World Cup, leading host country Nigeria to the final, where they fell to Switzerland.

He currently plays with My People in his native country, and it appears that Spurs are in the lead to earn the 17-year-old's signature.

In lieu of a transfer fee, it is said that the Nigerian club would just like to secure a relationship with the team their young star happens to play for in the future.
