University of Uyo Final year student robbed, shot dead. A final student of the department of Microbiology, University of Uyo, Dominic Kubiat was shot dead last night by unknown gunmen, few minutes after the Manchester United match. The deceased was reportedly dispossessed of his mobile phone and valuables by his assailants at Ikpa Lane area in Uyo; and was thereafter shot in his right lap. Late Dominic was said to have escaped with the gunshot wounds to his house.
