Wow, I can understand how you guys feel when Islam is tagged with violence.

Now you have a reason to throw ball the other way. We have always had christiand heretics from history and this group is one of them.

People who read the bible upside down and literally come up with this kind of nonsense.

Guys, some people who also claimed to be christians recently burned themselves in a house for some reason. We know about this extremism but it comes ones ina while in different forms.

Fine you are not in the habit of starting flamewars though the tone just felt kinda offensive. anyway, you can take a rest cos we know this is one of MANY isolated incidents. In a few days time a muslim terrorist (who does not have the support of the majority according to you) will attempt to blow up, shoot or kill somebody.
I do not support the US and even though there may be elements in their military who actually see this as some kind of crusade, the wars on Iraq and afghanistan were just exercises in geopolitics and economics. (Granted Bush was a fundamentalist but that does not mean we should see it as a christian versus muslim kinda thing. Chinese kill muslims regularly but nobody's calling them christian).

There are christian fundamentals in the US and that old lady was simply expressing thingly veiled racism. As far as she's concerned Africa is just one big cesspot of Islamic terrorism( i am putting words into her mouth, ne!!.) and Obama was a representation of that to her. If we believe democracy represents the will of the people then IT was not a significant movement otherwise he would not have gotten in.

As to your references to Ehud (funny but a friend and I held an argument about him a week ago.), he's clearly not christian and the judges were tribal leaders who were motivated to fight for Israel and God against Canaanite oppressors.

You really are a funny person: You extracted a line from a parable Luke 19:26(which by default are exercises in mystery that cannot be understood unless read whole) and used it to justify jihad. The parable in question was about the use of talents and the different rewards for people who refuse to use their talents. Those to be killed were those who rejected the king (those that reject his message). I guess jihadist literature may not be too finicky about its sources but really I'll turn your earlier advice back on you by saying you should confirm your sources before using them.

But you did not address the issue of how christians fight battles
I don't want to judge christainity by the actions of Bush, Hitler
Tell me the guidance provided by the bible when war is inevitable
eg when your country is invaded

Reading your post, one may be lulled into a false sense of relief
But everyday, I see christians attributing nearly every affliction of this world to Islam
And I look around me, I see both christians and muslims giving vent to normal human emotions
I know christians that I would not want to tangle with
I know christians who are very peaceful
But when I get on the net, I see a picture of christainity that is strange
They don't attack first, they don't seek revenge
And I ask?
Where are they? - definitely not in the morning traffic on 3rd mainland Bridge when tempers are short
Not in Aba where A ManU fan ran his car into some Barca fans who were celebrating their UCL victory
Or in the political arena where violence is greater in the "christian south" of Nigeria

And when Muslims are involved in a regretful (and misguided eg suicide)
Christians start crowing

True for every group - gays, political parties, ideologues, religions
But christians publish lies to convert/confuse muslims

Actually what we seek is simple
Join us in pointing out the bad ways of these muslim extremists

Be fair when there is a dispute
Punish the culprits of BOTH Jan and March incidents in Jos
